Moms are saying...
- So flattering! So a little disclaimer, I'm probably one of the few pregnant women who doesn't really like clothing that empahsizes "the bump." That said, I'm not tall, I'm 5'4, 31 weeks along and definitely have a sizeable bump. I have an athletic build with Scottish hips to round out the mix ;), pre-pregnancy I was wearing a 4 but have moved up to a 6 on the bottom (gotta love them hormones!) I got this top in a small and while I didn't find the arms were too tight on me, I could see where someone who was more broad-shouldered might need to size up to a medium.
- Lovely but arms way too tight! I love the cut of this. Sadly my small had the smallest arms possible. I returned it and will reorder in a medium.
- love! I love this top! I barely have a bump and it's super cute. Can see it working throughout my pregnancy and after! The fabric is soft and comfortable. Might have to pick up the dark heather as well! Only complaint would be that my toddler loves hiding under it :)
So what makes this top so great IMO is that it is fitted in the arms and shoulders and then drapes down without just flopping over your bump like a big curtain. The handkerchief cut is what makes it look flattering and i think with leggings, skinny or straight leg jeans, a pair of ankle booties or even topsiders that this would be a great outfit for fall & winter. I can imagine I will be wearing this top post pregnancy as well as it will hide all the sins while I'm working to get back into shape. I like it so much in the grey that I am seriously thinking about getting it in black; especially when the price is pretty good. It would be so great if Ingrid & Isabel made this top in a mulled wine and/or royal blue and navy.
