Ingrid & Isabel Careers - Marketplaces Manager

Position Description

Reporting directly into the Sales & Partnerships VP, the Marketplaces Manager is responsible for both strategy and executing day-to-day operational management of all Marketplace channels (Amazon 3P, Target+, and Madewell in addition to several new marketplaces to go live in 2022).  This individual will collaborate closely with our internal cross functional team and technology & agency partners to deliver sales and profit targets.  The Marketplaces Manager must have the ability to see the big picture and the personality to roll up sleeves and do the work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perfect new and optimize existing product listings including images, keywords, title, bullet points, categorization,  A+, Brand Store, product descriptions, etc.
  • Analyze SKU performance, margin, accuracy, and customer ratings and reviews
  • Manage marketing and advertising spend and profitability
  • Liaison and collaborate with Amazon agency to optimize brand visibility and discovery
  • Competitive shop and audit listing performance.
  • Guide product catalog assortment and changes based on sales and competitive analysis
  • Update and maintain master customer product assortment matrix for all Marketplaces
  • Actively research, respond, and report on marketplace/industry trends
  • Create annual growth plans and monthly forecasts
  • Develop thoughtful long-term and short-term plans, goals and road-map execution
  • Audit and Troubleshoot Marketplaces execution: assortment, pricing, fulfillment, content, marketing, images
  • Function as Marketplaces subject matter expert, drive operational improvements, document best practices
  • Onboard new marketplaces with Operations team
  • Pricing Maintenance: NetSuite ERP and Marketplace specific systems
  • Knowledge of marketplace vendor guides and shipping requirements to maintain compliance standards and communicate shipping needs to the warehouse.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external partners: Operations, Planning, Production, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, 3PL Warehouse, Marketplace, and Agency Partners

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience managing a Marketplace business with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Amazon Experience: deep understanding of Amazon SEO, marketing, Seller Central, FBA & and what drives the flywheel.
  • Proven strength in data, operations, and technology
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Netsuite ERP and ChannelAdvisor experience a Plus
